The blackberry will be using the Outlook calendar to update its information. its quite easy to use. What's happening is that the items calendared on the BB are syncing with the "private" calendar under the username (Outlook Today - Username - Calendar), and not the "public" calendar (All Public Folders - John Doe). No items are marked as "private" on the BB.

Install the Blackberry Desktop manager software and after its done go to the Syncronize Button. Once inside look to the left for configuration synchronization click this button it need you to be online to do this as well. inside it will list the many programs that can be used to sync your blackberry make sure you have already setup your outlook so that it can pick up the new settings your creating. once your all done look for the top upermost button on left of BDM ( blackberry desktop manager) and click syncronize to sync your blackberry. now once it is done your BB only needs to be plugged in and it will autosync itself. look in your outlook for new entrys and popup

Will not charge

Are you using the AC Adapter, or USB sync cable to computer to charge? If using your computer to charge, you will need to have USB Driver for your BlackBerry Model installed. Download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5It

Could also be that your USB Port on your BB is damaged. You can use an external Battery Charger to charge your Battery http://www.amazon.com/Blackberry-External-Battery-Charger-8300/dp/B002YGYLA8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1263514496&sr=8-2

Curve 8300 Battery Replacement Problems

You should download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

Outlook 2007 contacts not syncing on blackberry curve

Assuming you are on BES, having your administrator resend the service books (and IT policy for good measure) should resolve the issue.

Otherwise how are you trying to sync?

Crashed??

Have you tried removing the battery from the back of the Curve? If not, remove the battery and let the device sit for about a minute. Then re-install the battery and the device will do a full reboot. Note: You will not lose any data by doing this.
