Re: Need to reset an account in the job templates, and
When you browse in via the IP address, the Centreware Internet Service (CWIS) will ask for your username and pass word for certain operations. On the 7132, the username is 11111 and the password is x-admin (all lowercase). If that does not work, it may be that you exceeded the login attempt limit and will have to power off the machine, wait 1 minute and then restart it. This process usually takes less than 3 minutes total.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones). click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Good luck!

Solution : Modify the User Login Name to a User that Only Exists on the SMB Server
Setting up a scanning template using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) will fail if the user login name is a domain user, for example, ADSdomain\testadmin.
Open an Internet web browser.
Enter the IP Address of the machine in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CWIS home page will be displayed.
Click on the [Services] tab.
Click on the [Job Templates] link.
Click on the [Display Job Templates Screen] button. The Device Template window will be displayed.
Click on the [File Repository Setup] radio button. The File Repository Setup window will be displayed.
Select the required File Repository from the File Repository Setup pull-down menu.
Enter a username that only exists on the SMB server in the Login Name field.
Click on the [Apply] button. A 'Settings have been updated' message will be displayed.
Click on the [Back] button. The File Repository Setup window will be displayed.
Click on the [Template] radio button. The Device Template window will be displayed.
Click on the [Create New] button, and then setup the template again.
Click on the [X] in the upper, right corner to close the Internet browser window and return to the desktop.
The 7232 is a totally different machine and the windows 7 drivers for it will not work with your 7131 according to their table.
Also, according to Xerox's table, windows 7 drivers are definitely not available for the 7132. The latest drivers are for Vista, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, because windows 7 can run vista programs in its compatibility mode, or many times it works alright after downloading and installing the vista drivers.
The 016-783 error message indicates that “Cause – Could
not find the specified server path during file”.
The folder that the Xerox scanner job template uses to deposit the
scans in had previously been deleted, so I had recreated the shared
network folder. What I had neglected to do though was to recreate the
sub-folders that the Xerox Job Templates use for the scans.
After recreating the subfolders that the file repository setup
referenced in the job template I had no more error codes with that
scanning job template.
there is either paper stuck around a roller (3) that feeds the paper or you have a bad clutch, most mnfs use magnetic clutches at the rear of the machine or bypass that get a red rusty dust in them causing squeal. recommend xerox takes a look...sorry they are quite expensive hourly
Pretty vague question.
The Doc 12 probably has a Fiery Network controller, while the 7132 has a Fuji/Xerox controller.
The Doc 12 would have limited scanning capabilities while the 7132 can, depending on the config ordered, scan to E-mail, SMB, FTP, Scan to PC, and scan to a mailbox on the Xerox itself. If you have an embedded fax in the configuration, you can set it to catch incoming faxes and forward to e-mail, or a SMB or FTP folder on your PC or server.
The 7132 is rated at 8 pages a minute in color mode, and 30 pages a minute b&w.
The Doc 12 has been around since 2002, the 7132 is about 3 years old and has been replaced by the 7232.
