Question about HP Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook
When you try to turn it on, if it beeps a couple of times, then you need to reseat the RAM. If nothing happens/lights flash/lights come on then go off after a couple of seconds, then you have a motherboard problem. You can try to replace it...for a good chunk of change...and a giant headache looking for someone who carries the motherboard, or you can simply throw it away and invest that money and effort into a new computer.
