Blinking green light, no picture or sound

The TV was working fine then no sound or picture. The Timer light is blinking. I've tried the reset and it does not resolve the problem. I unplugged the TV for a few days and when I plugged it in it worked. After a few hours it stopped again and the timer light is blinking. Help.

Blinking timer light and system shut down even after restting and unplugging.

I have the same problem. My 62525 shuts down with blinking green light. Reset does nothing. Shutting the power off at the surge protector for at least 5 minutes will allow the TV to come back on but, often after 20 minutes it happens again. Another power off cycle usually results in the picture and sound returning for several hours before it goes off again.

Have a tech visit scheduled two days from now.

I have Mitsubishi WD-52725 that went blank while watching HTDV then it reset and the Timer LED kept blinking. A POR did not fix the issue. The repair shop, supposedly trained by Mitsubishi is asking for 800$ to ship it to Mitsubishi for repair. He does not have a clue what broke in it... He is telling me it is the Chassis! Go figure! For that kind of money, I am dumping it. Mitsubishi is screwing up the environment!

Blinking green light on Mitsubishi will not turn off

The capacitors on the DM board need replacement, thats a common problem it will work fine but if power is loss even for a minute the capacitor drain, then they cant recharge since they need replacement so the set will just keep blinking the timer light. Installing the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually repair that. The kit contains the Replacement caps and the CD with detailed instructions.

Flashing green light

Did you try this yet

SYSTEM RESET
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control
or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off,
press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item
like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off
and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one
minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may
turn on the TV again. Changes you made the last time
the TV was On before you used the SYSTEM RESET
button may be lost, however, the changes you made
previously are not lost.
POWER/TIMER Indicator
The green light is a multi-function indicator. This light
will flash rapidly for about one minute each time the TV
is plugged into the wall electrical outlet, when power
is restored after a power failure, or using the SYSTEM
RESET button. Do not attempt to turn on the TV again
during this period. Wait for the flashing to stop and
the light to turn off, before attempting to turn the TV
on. While the TV is powered on, the light illuminates
steadily. If the TV has been programmed to turn on
automatically using the Timer feature,

Blinking green timer light on front nearpower button keeps blinking, tv will not turn on, unplugged for 24 hours and tried again, also hit system reset and still nothing.

Thats a common problem when the caps on the DM need replacement. They will function fine untill power is interupted then the set will not complete the boot sequence when power is reapplied and the led will just continue to blink. Hers a link to the kit that will usually repair that issue the kit comes with instructions.
