On wash cycle it hums and agitator won...

on wash cycle it hums and agitator won't rotate at all. Drum will spin on rinse and belt is moving all pulleys. Just the agitator won't rotate back and forth. Just a hum noise?

Check the motor for proper oltage. The motor controls everything from spining to agitator.
