Try this :
This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .

it sounds crazy .

Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY
.

Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.

Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.

It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).

beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.

This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick.

Sony camera sea water damage and wet

Highly unlikely that it can be repaired, salt water caused corrosion and will short out electronic components when the battery is connected.
I suggest you put your money towards a new camera.

My Sony Camera fell in the sea water, can it still be fix? How?

Salt water damage is very bad for electronic devices, especially if the device was switched on at the time when it was dropped into salt water.
The cost of repair if you can get someone to repair it would most like be very expensive.
I would recommend you purchase a new camers, it most likely be a later and better model.

Sea water is corrosive and continues to damage the internal parts even after it dries. I don't know of any service dept. that would touch it and if they would, the cost would be prohibitive.

The repair to any camera damaged by sea water will cost more than the cost of a new camera since everything must be replaced because salt water is corrosive. Add the replacement parts to the labor costs and you now have a repaired camera that cost more than a new one.

That's not all that was damaged. Salt water is very corrosive and is still eating at the other parts of your camera not to mention getting in between the lens elements.

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

Fell in the sea and the phone went dead

you will have to get a new phone.
the sea water inside your phone will corrode and damage everything.
you can try placing the phone in a baggie with uncooked white rice and seal it for about a week, then replace the battery with a new one and see if it works.
thats your only option besides getting a new phone.

Dopped in sea water :-(

Water may have created short circuits and might have damaged both, the battery and the phone.

Since sea water contains salt and this is very damaging for all electronics devices, I would probabli advise you to completely clean the circuit boards etc with alcohol. You can probably set it from maplin or RS Components. They call it ethanol and is good for cleaning circuit boards as it evaporates quickly.

So after you cleaned it, leave it to dry and if nothing has been damaged then you may be a lucky person.
