I need to replace the circuit breaker on the power nozzle. Can I get a cheap replacement?

Remove power cord from the outlet ( wall ) and if the circut breaker still won't reset than you need to replace it ,However you have to replace it with the same type because it is designed especially for that model

Belt stopped working

<p>If your power nozzle has a circuit breaker, then it could be bad. The eSERIES PN2E power nozzle has had many issues with the circuit breaker going bad. If the light on top the power nozzle comes on, then most likely your circuit breaker is the issue.</p>
<p>On the PN2E and PN2 Power Nozzles, it is not necessary to use the circuit breaker. If you circuit breaker goes bad, just wire the leads together and use <a href="http://www.rainvac.com/8mm-516-hole-cover-pnozzle">this hole cover</a> to complete the job. Use a 5/16 drill bit to allow the hole cover to fit.</p>
<p>The electric hose has a trigger that you turn the power nozzle on and off so there is no need to have a circuit breaker. If you get something caught in the brush roll, just release the trigger.</p>

Need instruction to replace circuit breaker for Rainbow E series..

The factory has stopped using the circuit breaker in the power nozzles. Reason is that it is redundant as you can turn power nozzle off with the trigger in the handle if you get something caught or have an issue. Just wire all the leads together and bypass the reset button.

No power to hose for power brush.

Does your power nozzle have an external power cable, (strapped on the outside of the hose) with a plug at the end where it connects to the Vacuum cleaner itself?
Or is the power conducted internally -- almost invisible, inside the hose?

If the former-- Usually the plug connections wear out-

Either way, you need to measure some voltages at the Power Nozzle itself---
Can you check with a volt meter, to see if voltage is getting to the Power Nozzle itself?
If so, look for a tripped Circuit breaker inside the power nozzle head-- or a broken wire?

Let me know what you have and what you find, and get back with me-

Central vacuum won't start even after depressing the reset button on the carpet sweeper. Hose and wand appear to be unclogged.

Is it only the power head that's not working, or the central vacuum itself? Disconnect wands from hose, turn on, and hold hand over hose end to check for suction. If none, go through first set of steps below.

If the vacuum:
1. Press reset button on vacuum.
2. Check circuit breaker at the circuit box to make sure it's ON.
3. Make sure the unit is plugged in completely.
4. Use a voltage tester to check for power at the outlet.
5. Check filter. If dirty rinse it with warm water, and allow to dry thoroughly. I strongly suggest having a second filter for use during drying, then just trade off using them.

If the vacuum still doesn't turn on, consider the following:]
Broken or worn out power switch in hose handle...Switch needs replaced.
Broken wire in hose...Replace hose.
Bad connection...Needs taken to an authorized Aerus service center for check and repair.

If the power nozzle (suction at end of hose, but power nozzle doesn't work:
1. Ensure the brush has been thoroughly cleaned of any hair, string, and other items that may have wrapped around it.
2. Power nozzle motor runs, but brush doesn't turn when vacuum is on...belt needs replaced.
3. Power nozzle motor does not run...All wiring, connections, and motor need to be checked.

If you can't determine the problem with the above helps, the entire machine, including hose, wands, and power nozzle, needs to be taken to an authorized Aerus service center for complete check.
If you don't know the location of the nearest Aerus Electrolux store, go to below site, type in zip code, and click on "view dealer list". They may also be able to send someone to pick it up.

The reset button on the "sweeper" is only to start the "sweeper" motor after it has shut off due to the brush getting jammed. It doesn't effect the vacuum operation.

Rainbow vaccum roller got caught in bed spread and stopped rotat

Assuming the belt is not loose, it sounds like something is still stuck under the roller (part of the bed spread?)

Did you check the power nozzle circuit breaker?

You may also need a new roller brush

If all connections are good and taking power, this simply means that you need a new motor.

Riccar 1700 power nozzle wont turn on

Make sure the 'Power brush' switch on the contol panel on the hose is depressed. Check the circuit breaker on the power nozzle; it will either be a button or a breaker that looks like a rocker switch, try to reset it.
Is the power nozzle motor running but the brush just isn't turning? If so you may have a broken belt. Not a likely solution since the belt is a lifetime belt, but still remotely possible.

Powerhead on rainbow not working

If the motor is NOT running - press the red button on the nozzle (assuming you have the model with the button on the nozzle)
If it stops working as soon as you release the button - you need a new circuit breaker. If Motor in the nozzle works but brush does not spin - you have to replace the belt.

Good Luck
