Same here. I had my first M500 and it worked fine for about 7-8 months and then it started to give me trouble charging it. I went to the a repair center and they gave me a completely new phone. It has been only 2-3 months since I got my NEW phone and the same problem is occurring. I spend a good 10-30 minutes a day trying to figure out a way to keep the charger in a certain position for it to charge my phone. The phone has a flaw, it's very obvious. I'm sure when I go in they will want to give me a new phone.
I found tying a rubberband around the phone the band holding the cord of the charger around the left side of the phone tightly so that it is pressing tightly on the left is the best way to charge the phone if you can't get to a repair center soon.

Try replacing the charger and check new charger works or not. The problem is surely in the charger.
