This is from the Pioneer Electronics Website; Touch the source icon and then touch ?AUX? to select AUX as the source. When the source icon is not displayed, you can display it by touching the screen. If the auxiliary setting is turned ?OFF?, ?AUX? cannot be selected. I would assume you just need to disable the AUX button. Best of Luck.

How do you have it connected to the back of the unit? Is the XM, connected via the proprietary cable? If not, its not going to come thu the XM button.

It is considered and Auxiliary if its connected otherwise.

    Best of Luck.

I believe the car radio is a Sony Xplod. I have sattelite radio as well. I don't know what button my nephew hit, but now I can't access sattelite radio. When I hit mode- it goes from Radio to CD to MD...

The "Changer Controls" are typically used for the XM controls. I would try turning off the unit and the car and pulling the Sony radio's 'memory' fuse for 10 minutes then restart. This is a tricky one.

New Xm, went through the steps in manual; no sound in car

The stations you set it to have to be complete static for the xm to come in. Your best bet if you head unit has an aux input is to buy an aux cable(few dollars) and hardwire it. it will give you the best quality for sound for xm.

Lagging of AVIC f90bt

This might help; I'm no tech expert- I don't know if you already have it or not, but the new 2.0 download solves some of the problems related to freezing and booting up.

Recording xm

Press "mode" button so that the reciever is receiving music from satellite signal on the station you want to record. Then press "2Go" button - screen will ask you to press again to confirm - press again, and it will record whatever was being received. It will record over what was already in 2Go. In menu, under "myXm" there are choices to clear the entire memory of recorded music.

OK, I spoke to Pioneer tech support and they had me go to destination>settings>connection status. If the parking brake shows "off", many of the functions will not work as a safety measure. I guess this is their version of interlock. I think it can be defeated with a wire-around, but thats what they say the problem is.
