Most likely the lines are coming from a failing LCD panel tab connection. The capacitor problem and LCD tab problem are the most common problem for older Samsung LCD's

SOURCE: Which Replacement Power Board for LNT4665F Samsung LCD TV?

Howdy,
It would be a lot cheaper if you just replace the two caps that have gone bad. Just get a cheap solder pencil from the store and about an inch of solder and you are in business.
The Power Supply Board is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.

Thaks for using FIXYA, BIG IRISH.

SOURCE: Not the capacitors, replaced in August.

Hello solidsnake55, my names Dave.

I Have worked on this model of TV many times! This model has a power supply that is a two in one! Meaning it is the mean power supply / inverter board! If you look at the top side of the power supply you will see that there are two wires that go to the back light of the TV one is light blue and the other is pink! I think! Anyway next to where they plug in to the power supply is the main inverter! it is square 2 1/2 inch's by 2 1/2 inch's. You will want to check all the solder joint to the inverter on the back side of the board! Theres a good chance that you have a bad solder joint and all you'll need to do is re-solder the bad joint to complete the repair! This is a common problem for this particular power supply!

If you need any other help with this repair or any other repair please feel free to contact me at www.pleasefixitdave.com You'll find all my contact info at this website!

We are a plasma / LCD repair shop in Portland, OR. We also sell factory replacement parts for Plasma & LCD type TVs! All the parts we sell are warranted not to be DOA (Dead On Arrival) with a full cash refund or replacement part! I also provide TV repair tech assistance!

Samsung led 65 inch left side of screen is a 5 inch wide white vertical strip. can anyone help me ?

The Vertical colored lines that usually do show up on TV screens is when the T-Con board is not working correctly and most times this can be simply be caused from wiring that is not securely or fully fastened. Other times the T-Con Board itself might be faulty and needs to be replaced.
