SOURCE: Which Replacement Power Board for LNT4665F Samsung LCD TV?
Howdy,
It would be a lot cheaper if you just replace the two caps that have gone bad. Just get a cheap solder pencil from the store and about an inch of solder and you are in business.
The Power Supply Board is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.
Thaks for using FIXYA, BIG IRISH.
SOURCE: Not the capacitors, replaced in August.
Hello solidsnake55, my names Dave.
I Have worked on this model of TV many times! This model has a power supply that is a two in one! Meaning it is the mean power supply / inverter board! If you look at the top side of the power supply you will see that there are two wires that go to the back light of the TV one is light blue and the other is pink! I think! Anyway next to where they plug in to the power supply is the main inverter! it is square 2 1/2 inch's by 2 1/2 inch's. You will want to check all the solder joint to the inverter on the back side of the board! Theres a good chance that you have a bad solder joint and all you'll need to do is re-solder the bad joint to complete the repair! This is a common problem for this particular power supply!
If you need any other help with this repair or any other repair please feel free to contact me at www.pleasefixitdave.com You'll find all my contact info at this website!
