Question about HP PSC 1215 All-In-One InkJet Printer

The printer says I have a paper jam. There's none, but it won't wo

I have looked all through the printer, opened every place I can open, sprayed it out and cleaned it all I can, still it says ''paper jam'' and won't work. It had just printed another document for me without problem, there was no maneuver on my part, and no attempt to move or change paper, etc. Just a sudden and unexpected ''paper jam'' message and now no function. I have tried turning it off and back on again. No help. IO have moved the print cartrages over (they seemed to be ''stuck'' over on the left side of the carriage and my husband had done this before when the machine seemed ''stuck'' - it had worked). Nothing has helped. KEEPS SAYING PAPER JAM BUT THERES NO PAPER THAT I CAN SEE, IT PHOTOCOPIES AND SCANS FINE IT JUST WONT PRINT

One of the paper sensors is probably stuck. Some disassembly may be required to get to them. They are normally small plastic rockers that will let a small IR device either allow a beam of infrared light to pass or block it. On this printer, I would guess that there are 2 of them. One located at the paper feed so it knows if there is something in the tray or not and the other is probably located at the back where the paper curls back around to pass beneath the print area. There could also be a thrid at the output tray, but with this particular model, I kind of doubt they put one there.

My printer refelects an error paper jam but there is none

Hello
Make sure to go through the process of clearing a paper jam. Open and close doors as though there was a paper jam. The printer looks for the door switches to open and close before resetting it self. You may to power off. Also make certain that no small pieces of paper are stuck in between the openings.

Hope this helps

Paper jammed

This is how to clear paper jammed in canon inkjet printer.

    1. Protect yourself from shock. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the Canon Inkjet Printer. This is an important step when working inside ANY electronic device.

    2. Unhinge the back access panel of the printer. It seems repetitive to say this, but this door will be in the BACK of the printer.

    3. Look through the opened back panel and look for paper. Remove any and all paper you find jammed there.

    4. Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches into place and looks the same way that it did before you opened it.

    5. Find the front or top access panel. This is the panel you would lift to change ink cartridges. Open this access panel. If the carriage that holds the ink cartridges moves, then you forgot to unplug the printer, go back and do that now. Look for paper that may be jammed in this area of the printer.

    6. Remove any paper you find jammed here. When pulling from the front there will be resistance from the paper feeder. Pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a more stressful problem.

    7. Close the front access panel. Make sure that it falls or latches back in place. It should look the same way that it did before you opened it.

    8. Plug the printer's power cord into the wall outlet, and attempt to print again. If the printer prints the job, then you have successfully removed the paper jam

How do I fix a paper jam cef for epson aculaser cxn11nf?

Diagram of doors should be above control panel of printer.

Lift ADF/Scanner up. Open door "C" just below it. Lift orange photoconductor lever up to release photoconductor. Lift photo conductor up towards you. Inspect for jammed paper and remove if necessary. Replace photoconductor, close lever and door "C".

Open door "E" on rear of printer and look for jammed paper and remove. Close door "E".

Last place to look is in paper tray. Take stack of paper out and look for paper jam. Removed as needed.

These are the three places i have had jams and you will only find the jam in one of them. Most likely it will be in back in Door E
