Hey gessneruk, remember the one you and I were working on saturday that had no +24V? I got it up and running!
I had lost +24V on my power supply (Megmeet MLT386) and found F2 on the power supply blown out (3.15A). This was caused by a shorted QA2/QA2A (both are 9N50C FET transistors) After replacing these it still did not work, I found that four .47 ohm SMT resistors at R233 through R236 were blown open, I replaced them with a single .1 ohm 2W resisitor, I also had to replaced transistor QF1 (marked 2X4). After replacing all of these components, I restored the +24VDC and the tv.

These power supplies are not longer being manufactured and very hard to find. The defective power supply can be repair.
