Check the red voltage selector switch on the power suppy next to the power cord. Make sure it is set to the right voltage. You may want to slide it back and forth a couple of times. Sometimes these switches can be dirty or not seated properly.

FUJITSU SIEMENS SERIAL NUMBER YKJW 033826 GIVES ME A PROBLEM WITH POWER SUPPLY IT BEHAVES ON AND OFF DOES NOT ENGAGE FOR ME TO GO ON WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

The lithium battery might have failed.
A 0-Watt device consumes no current when it is switched off and in the quiescent state. Your 0-Watt device is equipped with an emergency on button (primary resume button) which can be
used if it can no longer be started, for instance because the lithium battery is discharged.
After the emergency on button (1) has been pressed for a short time, the device can be switched on again using the ON/OFF switch at the front of the device.

Power supply replacement

This power supply should work out fine for you if you haven't added a graphics card. It's very popular and pretty inexpensive:

I can't get a signal from my desktop to my hdtv when I use the hdmi port. The desktop is a gateway GT5676

First, make sure the computer port is working in the computer by going to the device management ICON in control panel.

Once you check that, make sure you have set up your preferences in the TV to allow "INPUT" from the HDMI port. If you have more than one HDMI ports make sure you have the correct number listed. This is a common error. It would be the same if you are running a DVR with an HDMI cable, you need to set up the TV. Normally you hit the "INPUT" button on the remote control and a list pops up. Scroll over with the arrows to the correct HDMI port. You will likely need to do this again to get back to the cable input once you are finished with the computer connection.

I am afraid that I have bad news. You have more than likely broken the connector in your computer. Unless you know someone that can open the case and try to repair it you will need to send it in for repair.

Is it powering off, or is the display just going black? Check to see if the keyboard is still active - can you see the Caps Lock light go on/off as you toggle the key?
