Question about AMS Lutron SFSQ-LF Skylark Slide-to-Off Fan Speed Control and Single-Pole Light
Need to check if the switch has a fuse which may have gone out. I took out the cover plate, but not able to remove the second plate after removing the screws. Any visual picture along with the explanation would be of great help,
Thanks in advance,
As far as i know there are no fuses in dimmer switches. Do you know the model number for the switch? It should be stamped on there somewhere.
Without knowing what you have hooked to the switch and what type of switch you have. My first guess would be that the switch has been overloaded and needs to be replaced. I would be wary of trying to open the dimmer itself especially if the switch is still under warranty. Usually once you get them a part they aren't going back together.
Write back with a little more info and i can help you more.
