Sorry, but like a memory card, when you format your phone, it erases everything you have saved. there is no way to get it back.

Phone freezes whenever I press "End" key or the "Clear" button

Hey,
Thanks for nothing people. I figured it out myself. It turns out I had a miniSD card I had been using with my laptop in the phone and it was formatted in a different format that the phone didn't recognize (I use Linux on my laptop, and Linux uses different file formats then Windows). The different format must have caused the phone to freeze, because after I took the miniSD card out, the phone went back to working properly (unless smacking it on the table whenever it would freeze helped. lol jk jk). I hope this helps someone else who has trouble with a freezing eNV.

Some Pictures won't display

When this happened to me. I erased the pix from my sd card and copied it again to my sd card in the pix folder. Then it worked. Also make sure the picture is in the correct format. ie. jpeg vs. bitmap.

How to download video to the LG enV VX9900 using my PC ?

Well Sir,

You Cannot Active Sync Videos And Pictures To The Lg enV (vx9900), To The Best Of My Knowledge. The Reason Is That The Folder That Active Sync Puts The Files In Is The Wrong File, What You Are Gonna Need To Do Is Get A Micro SD Card And Download A Free Video Editing Program Called "Super," Just Google It And You Should Find Something, The Next Part Is To Install And Open The Super Program At This Forum (http://cellphoneforums.net/lg-env/t250088-convert-put-videos-your-env-lg-vx9900.html) You Should Find Some Good Settings For Video's, Its What I Use, After The Setting Are All Finalized Click The Encode Button, After The Video Is Encoded The File Should Be Saved In C:/program files/eRightsoft/Super/Output/(File name). I Recommend Having A sd Card Writer, Thats The Only Way I Know To Do It, Then Copy The File In The Output Folder And Paste It To The Folder Named my_flix In Whatever Drive The SD Card Is. You Should Have A Video With Some Pretty Good Picture Qualities, Hope I Helped XD

Transferred pictures don't show up in phone

Check with the manual and see what type of format is/are supported by your phone. I have had both LG and Samsung phones and unfortunately, they do not share the same formats for pix, flix, I think the music files are similar.

Mp3 player

1. The EnV can only play .wma and .mp3 files .. make sure no other filetype (music) exists.

2. try formatting the card before putting music on it. Make sure all your files are backed up somehwere as formatting= erasing

3. power down the phone .. Take the battery out ... then put the battery back in and power it back on and try it again .... if it fixes your problem then you were having a software glitch

Hope this helps.

LG EnV wont transfer!!

I believe the card is formatted incorrectly, this sometimes occurs when the new OS doesn't recognize the old files and sort of "partitions" them off to the side instead of deleting them.

You can try reformatting using the enV again or (if you still have the old phone) put the card back in it and delete the other files from there. Otherwise you can probably format it using your computer, seeing as you have a connection between the phone and the computer.

LG EnV vx9900 won't transfer pictures using usb cable

Since no one has answered this yet and I found a solution, I minus well help the people out there. This is how I do it:
1) go to menu
2) go to tools
3) go to USB Mass Storage
This will allow your computer to recognize your phone/card and will open it. I highly recommend transferring all your photos and video to your card instead of your phone memory. This is how you transfer it from your phone to your card:
1) go to menu
2) go to settings
3) go to memory
from here you can gain access to what is on your phone memory and your card memory. From this you can edit where you want to save your pics/videos/sounds to (either phone or card memory) and transfer your media files from your phone to your card or vise versa.

Good luck and I hope this helped you all.

Memory card

Your picture is not a supported format to that unit or your picture too big for the new unit.
