There is hope. My AC power supply on my Avion (same as Protron now called SpectronIQ) 32" HDTV died in February, a year and half after buying on ShopNBC. I just got my new power supply a couple of days ago. They kept telling me to call back in 7-10 days every time I called. I contacted Maggie Scheel (firstname.lastname@example.org) at ShopNBC and Martin Orozco (email@example.com) at Protron. Many emails and phone calls later I finally got it. I did have to send a check for $79.99. Keep trying.
