Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers also you might uninstall the display adapter restart your computer then reinstall the display adapter and its drivers this would apply to the sound video and game controllers to hope this helps http://download.cnet.com/%7Bvalue=http://www.download.com/asus-agp-v7100-deluxe/3000-2108_4-68331.html

Is it possible to install Windows XP as a second OS on ASUS K61ICX3 Notebook. All my games need Windows XP. Thank you.

Probably. I would check out the Sun microsystems program "Virtual Box"
This is what I use. I have an older (maybe 6 years old) Toshiba laptop which runs Windows XP. I installed Virtual Box and use it to run Windows 7 as a guest system.
Go to this site to get it: http://www.virtualbox.org/

Drakan order of the flame engine crashes when i start a new game. i have windows 7 but im running as admin and in compatability mode for win xp sp2. what else can i try?

You could try installing the DirectX version the game uses. (probably on disk)
You can also try to download this Windows Virtual PC.
Windows Virtual PC emulates Windows XP on your Windows 7 PC, so that you can run older applications that won't run on Windows 7 otherwise.
You will however need a processor capable of virtualisation.
Virtualisation check and download here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
After installing Windows XP Mode you will need to install the game again in this XP emulator, but after that it should run fine.

I hope this helps,
Yannick.

Make sure its not an xbox360 disc and that it is not a bootleg copy.  if it was copied, you will have issues reading the disc.

My1 gb ram didn't make any change even in games in my pc even those games which used to run at a particular speed earlier before the added ram are running just like thet speed even after adding 1gb more...

Ok, let's explain this. RAM does not necessarily make your pc faster.
Your pc can be faster if you upgrade your CPU or graphic card(only graphic application will make you notice the increased speed in graphics).
RAM can be a bottleneck for application that need a lot of memory like photoshop when working on multiple very high resolution images or 3D cad when working on large assemblies, or VMWare.
Vista manages the RAM in such a way that you might notice a slight performance increase and less disk usage during standard desktop activities, but XP doesn't.
if you don't use very many applcations at a time and/or you don't use memory consuming applications, the added RAM is not used at all and your computer won't be any faster than it used to be.
Video memory is basically the same. you will notice a difference in performance from a large video memory(512MB-1GB-2GB) only if you game at high resolution like 1080p or higher, usually supported only by large monitors like 20" or larger.

Cant install a game on my cumputer

try running (or installing) this game (whatever it is) in compatability mode.

To do so:
  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Location the application executable.
  3. Right click the executable and click the Properties option.
  4. Select the Compatibility tab.
  5. Select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode option.
  6. From the drop-down list, choose the operating system i.e. XP or win2k
  7. If necessary, select the option to run the program as an administrator.
  8. Click OK.
hope this works for you

Can I install Windows XP SP2 to this motherboard?

yes, much faster, the minimum amount of memory XP needs to run fairly smoothly is 512MB of memory, especially if you have onboard (shared) graphics as this will be taken from your initial memory as well. So to sum up if you have 128MB ram in at the moment and your graphics memory just to run a normal application will use a minimum of 8MB, take this away from 128Mb = 120MB, if you run a dvd film or a game upto 64MB will be used leaving 64MB for the system, not to mention the memory programmes take to start up quiker the next time you use the programme.
