You may have a leak in the discharge extension, lower supply, or drain valve. I suggest you call Flushmate's tech support line (on the Flushmate label) and see if they can help you out.

Good luck

How do I lower the water level in the toilet bowl of a Slone Flushmate? It keeps getting higher, little by little after each flush.

The flush valve may be defective but some tinkering with the refill level setting may work.

Wont flush and keeps running

Sounds like the flapper valve is not seating properly.
Lift the lid off the tank. Down at the bottom there is a flapper valve. Sometimes it can get stuck open, especially if someone has put a water freshener or other device inside the tank.

My flushmate toilet got clogged. I have unstopped the clog, but it won't flush. The flushing process works, but the water isn't pushed down the drain.

My flushmate toilet was stopped up after a bm.

Because I could not get to it right away, I let it

sit for several days. Tried calling the Flushmate

800 number. They don\'t work on weekends and

it was Saturday. What to do? Read the info on

the internet but could not find solution. However

first I shut off intake water valve required for any service

performed. Did that. Got a large plastic spoon.

Fashioned a container out of supermarket paper

bag cut in half. Used bottom half and inserted it

inside double Safeway plastic bags. Scooped out

the toilet paper and feces into bag. Found most

of feces had disintegrated in the toilet coloring

water dark brown. That was a good sign. Less

solid matter to flush. Tossed bag into garbage.

Flushed the toilet and it worked perfectly. This

method works for stopped toilet only. If problem

is in the sewer line, you need another method.

Flushmate 503 sprays water out of top of tank, apparently coming for under the flushmate system. The valve doesn't seem to leak. Iahve pressure tested it.

Turn off the water supply at the wall, flush the toilet to relieve the pressure inside the Flushmate, and call Flushmate Consumer Services at 800-533-3460 M-F, 8:00 - 4:30 ET.

They'll need to know the serial number and approximate date of installation of the Flushmate.

You could alos fill out a confidential "contact" form on the contact page of the Web site,

If yu need to use the toilet in the meantime, you can "bucket flush" it by pouring 2 to 3 gallons of water into the bowl. This will generate a standard siphonic flush and won't give you the pressureized extractiopn but it will keep the toilet usable until a Flushmate support tech can diagnose the issue and provide a resolution.

Good luck!

Toilet was working perfect this morning until I flushed it and then the water would not stop. I turned the water off completely

The Shut-off mechanism inside the toilet tank is staying open. Turn the water back on, Remove the tank lid and flush to see exactly what is going on. You should notice that the rubber piece of the mechanism does not go back down to cover the flush hole. That should be your problem. Spray some lubricant (WD-40) on the moving hinge at the top of it or replace the entire assembly.

Just hooked up new pressure asist tank & bowl, turned on water to it,and it want flush.what i mean about want flush, is it will flush but water does'nt go down,as if it's not staying open long enough.

Sounds like you have a clogged drainline or vent-stack. Fill a large bucket with about three gallons of water and dump it quickly into the bowl. If the drainline/vent is clear, the toilet will "flush" like a gravity toilet and the water will drain from the bowl almost as fast as you can pour it in.

If the water level in the bowl slowly rises (as if it's about to overflow) and then slowly drains, you have a clog somewhere.

All toilets, regardless of their flushing mechanism, require a clear, unoibstructed drain/waste/vent system to extract waste.

If the toilet "flushes" with the bucket of water, you may want to call Flushmate tech support (the number is on top of the tank) or check out the installation and troubleshooting videos at

Hope this helps.
