Question about Sony VAIO PCV-W30 PC Desktop
I turn it on, it works fine for a few minutes and then it just shuts off on me. Only after resetting the plug a few times does start up again. But then the same thing happens after a few minutes even if no programs are running. I think its a power supply problem but I'm not sure. hope you can help
Our fix for this was as simple as cleaning a 'hair ball' off of the filter screen at the fan intake on the rear of the compute base. Once the internal components could 'breathe', the problem went away!

You need to check your fan at the processor, and make sure it's working.
also , make sure you have plenty of air circulating inside the tower, something is overheating.
either your processor or a hard drive is over heating.
