i bought a tv and the parental code does not allow me to watch rated R,PG-13 movies. i dont know the code and have beed looking for it any help finding it or a number i can call

thanks alot man. but the thing is i have been looking for a number i can call because i bought the tv from someone else and they have moved away. Do u get what i mean. if there is any way maybe you can find a number that i can call i would appreciate it alot man. the Tv is Admiral brand i dont even think that they make this tv's anymore. if you can help me plz..

If you can plz. id appreciate it alot man. Did you read my name Mrmop i couldnt think of anything else, everything else that i would put was already taken so i just wrote it and it worked. Kinda Sucks but. anyways this is a cool address it is really helpful thank you man. if you can find the # that would be groovy but if not that is cool. Laterz

Yes I need to remove the parental code on the V-chip to get the channels I want and I don't have the code it is an admiral TV

I have the same proble as the other customer.
I guess I click in the key plz, and press in the code for parent control. I don't have the manual, so I con't have idea about eht cod. So the TV don't work now. The TV gets one, but I can't change chanels or see any chanel at all. Can you give me any suggestion to get that problem fix.

The 5898 and 1234 password did not work! I've contacted the service center with the hope of resolving this issue... time will tell.

When there is a parental code, you have to ring up your tv service provider for the code.

yea, i will find the number u r looking for. admiral is a rare company nowadays. i will try my hardest.

Now I know your calling the service center, but this may help. Usually TV manufacturers hide the V-Chip or Partental Lock/Block code somewhere on the rear of the TV (it might be in small wirting), or in the manual (deep in the manual, or on the inner-back of it). So try one of those places, and you might just find it!

Problems with V-Chip/Parental Controls
The rating limits don’t work
 • For rating limits to take effect, you must lock V-Chip settings to activate them.
I don’t remember my password and I want to unlock the TV
 • If you forget your password you can reset it. Enter 5898 as the password and then change it
to a new one.

My Sister game me her Zenith combo Tv and there is a v chip block on it, she does not know the pass word that was set on it. How can I reset it to watch the blocked channels?
