Hello cjfatback,

You want the blue/white wire.

Here's what the manual shows:

Red - Power (to ACC in vehicle)
Black - Ground
Yellow - 12V positive (battery lead)
Blue/White - External Amplifier Control Lead
White - Left Front Spkr +
White/Black - Left Front Spkr -
Gray - Right Front Spkr +
Gray/Black - Right Front Spkr -
Green - Left Rear Spkr +
Green/Black - Left Rear Spkr -
Violet - Right Rear Spkr +
Violet/Black - Right Rear Spkr -
The red and white RCA pigtail leads is for AUX input
Left set of Preamp Outputs - Rear Channels
Right set of Preamp Outputs - Front Channels
Only Models C3433U, C3304U, and C3333U have a 2nd set of RCA pigtail leads for subwoofer output.

Hope this helps.

I am trying to hook up an amp to my panasonic cq-c300u but i cant find the remote wire in the back. does it even have one? and if not is there a way to add one?

If your stereo doesn't have an option for amp cut the RCA wire that you're going to use and connect it to the output speaker wires at the back of your stereo. You can also use crossovers.

Panasonic CQ-C8303U. Hooked up an amplifier and it works with the radio but when i put in a cd the amp doesn't work. the receiver just plays with normal sound.

Verify your wire connections are correct. Keep in mind that if your amp is hooked up to the radios power antenna wire this is the problem. When you insert a cd the radio is designed to lower the antenna. If your amp is hooked up to the antenna wire the radio is shutting off the amp when you put in a cd Panasonic does this on most of all their units. You may have to hook your amp up to a separate switch to turn the amp off and on or hook it to your ignitions acc wire, if you hook it up to your ignitions acc the amp will stay on as long as your key is on even if you turn off the radio.
Here's a link to download the manual for your radio just copy and paste it in to your web browser and download the PDF file. You will need the reader to view it. If you don't have the reader you can download it for free at www.adobe.com

How do i hook up my amp power wire to my panasonic cq-rx100u

Your power amp wire (positive (RED) ), should be hooked up directly to your battery....THe ground wire should be anchored to a bolt in your trunk (the short the distance the better), Make sure ground is getting a good bite on metal (no paint etc)....Only thing you should have hooked between your amp and radio is the rcas and your remote wire (blue).

I have a Panasonic CQ-RX400U and I need to hook it up to a 1992 Ford Taurus and I need cables to hook it up and the thing that holds it in place in the dash.

I would get an stereo installation kit from Auto Zone or a local automotive audio store. It will come with the surround for the new stereo to fit where the old stereo went, and a wiring harness to hook the new stereo up to and plug into the existing car wiring.

No sound out of speakers. st (stereo) lights up on display and everything else works but sound

If the car had sound with the factory radio prior to the installation on this unit, then the problem is probably a factory amplifier. Some systems simply need the blue remote wire hooked up to turn on the amp, but others require adapters while others require the amp to be bypassed. Post the year, make, and model of your car, and I can try to help you determine what you need to do next..

Installation

the blue and white wire is for the powered antenna, or signal remote wire for amp is also ran off that wire. as far as internal ant. cap you would have to check with panasonic about the add-on from factory though it does not. you should have a powered antenna or antenna in the windshield on the vehicle unless someone has changed the windshield for the cheaper model or removed the external antenna. which in that case you will need to add an antenna, can be bought at local electronics store or stereo shop. hope this help solves problem let me know if you have any more questions.

Panasonic cq-c8303u Car stereo problem

There is for sure a hook up problem my friend. There should be a memory wire that always has power to it even when the car or the ignition is off. Then there is a switched type wire that only comes on when the cars ignition is on. Check both of these wires in the car. Check the car wiring diagram to confirm this. To confirm the wiring in this vehicle, I Good Luck with this install. And if all else fails, don't take a chance and blow out the unit, take it to a pro to be installed. Good Luck found the right wiring diagram for your car. Confirm this wiring diagram with this one you have. Go here:http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/955.html
