Red lighting is off on the left and right but good in the center.

The read lighting is off on the sides but good on the center of the screen on my GE D52GW12 TV! I have already taken a look at the convergence menus both manualy and remotely but have not been able to fix the problem.

2013 hyundai sonata gls brake light

is the driver left side as in USA? (LHD or RHD)?
educated means too we read the service manual (SM)
and the page on rear lamps. Schematics, or we just fiddle about and guess.
https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

fuses all good, we check them all.
the problem #1 is on BCM cars, no 2 BCM work the same
so again the SM comes to our rescue.
BCM is body brain and runs all lamp, in odd ways, you don't know yet.
answering for only USA cars, LHD.
brake lamps are rear amps 2 or 3 total

that socket burnup (where) is signs of dead shorted lamp.
needs new lamp first and new socket 2nd.
the IPS runs all 3 rear stop lamps left, center and right.
facts, Schematic on my screen
all 3 lamps use the same single wire to glow. branks
but not ground
left uses GF04 ground wire to body.
GF04 ground runs the other 2 lamps.
so the only failure here is left lamp
  • the lamp bad
  • the wire bad (or socket0
  • or the ground bad GF04
2 man job, step brake, 2nd man meter in hand.
a voltmeter tells you which one is bad.
step on brake pedal 12vdc here, all 3 on that 1 wire.
ground reads 0v.
yes ,yes, then lamp is bad.

left-undefined-undefined-0_0.jpg meter black test wire must be to perfect metal ground for tests.
max ground volts is 0.5vdc max.but 0 is goal.
the lamp shorted I guess and burned up parts related.

Top left pin (red) is positive and 1st left pin in middle (black) is negative. Straight 120v, but I don't know how to vary the speed by utilizing the other pins

Our dryer model wed6200sw1 will not power up. my brother inlaw installed a 3 wire power cord when helping us move. there is a white wire that hangs loose in the housing that I believe is a nuetral ground,...

This is tough to say without being their.. But lets try...You need to hook up the power cord correctly before doing any other diagnostics...On the dryers terminal block you should have a black on one side, white in the center, and red on the other side THE POWER CORD WIRES HAVE TO BE HOOKED UP THIS WAY. when checking voltage at the back of unit make sure its 120 volts from center to right side , and 120 volts from center to left side after this is correct we can diagnosis from their if its not working right.......

Convergence lines are SLANTED. Red line is above horizontal center on left side on screen and below horizontal center on the right side of screen. Also left of Vertical center at the top of the screen and...

did you check the six 3.5 pico fuses that are next to the ICs? They will often be open ( blown) when the ICs fail. Also check the two 5 amp IC protectors on the G board as those protect the two ICs so its possible they have blown also a 5 amp pico can be substituted for the two IC protectors.

Red will not focus with auto majic or manually

being that youre able to control adjustments in the center of the screen your ICs have to be good, you will need a tech for that repair as its a problem within the DCU , convergence yokes or faulty component within the convergence power supply other than the ICs.

Ok, so I Replaced stk-392-110 (2) and......

Check the resistors in the red convergence circuit right next to the Ics you will need to lift one side of the resistor out of circuit to acurately check them but usually one or two resistors will be opened when the ICs go out
