Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Very difficult to turn on my HP pavilion notebook. Must push on/off button way down and hold it there to start unit. Each session is getting more difficult. Can the switch be sprayed with tuner cleaner or is it membrane protected. Don't see any easy way to take cover off.
To repair this, you need some experience. Remove 3 white and 2 black screws under battery. Remove memory cover. There is another black screw under memory cover. Then you can remove upper cover and keyboard. You will see two special white wires connected from cover to motherboard. One of them is damaged. Need to clean these wires or replace with new one
