Question about Dell XPS M1710 2.33GHz Core 2 DUO T7600 2GB 80GB Blu-ray DVD?±RW WLAN 17" WXGA GeForce Go 7950 GTX V... PC Notebook
I have a laptop Dell XPS M1710. The battery charge light is flashing 4 times amber, 1 time green. It's only 2 years old. The battery is working normal. It started this when I ran the battery down to 3 % and the computer went into hibernate mode. I would hate to buy a new battery and not fix this nagging little flash at the corner of my screen. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
If the battery is hot from being used in your computer or being in a hot environment, the battery may not charge when you connect the computer to an electrical outlet. The battery is too hot to start charging if the light flashes alternately orange and green. Disconnect the computer from the electrical outlet and allow the computer and the battery to cool to room temperature. Then connect the computer to an electrical outlet to continue charging the battery.
