High input is used for amping up doorspeakers if your headunit doesnt have enough preouts

for instance you would connect up the rear speakers to the high input lead acting as a rca

Hope this answers your question :)

What is code D0131 on a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS?

Don't know where you came up with this one D0131 , No such code . Now if you mean a P0131 it's for a O2 sensor
DTC P0131 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Sensor 1
C0455
Front Steering Position Sensor Circuit
EBCM

The electronic brake control module (EBCM) receives multiple direct inputs from the steering wheel position sensor. These circuits include, two digital square wave input signals A and B. Phase A or B should toggle high and low every 2 degrees of steering wheel rotation. . The EBCM also receives one analog steering wheel position input on the steering wheel position sensor signal 1 circuit, and is compared to the digital circuits for fault detection. The analog portion of the steering wheel position sensor is supplied a 5-volt reference and low side return circuits from the EBCM. Ignition voltage and ground circuits are supplied directly to the digital portion of the steering wheel position sensor.

Low volume on my technics turntable compared to other appliances

it needs a pre amp, or special phono input that will boost the signal, those old turntables have very low output lvl

I have a new Peavey XR1220P powered Mixer purchased March 31/12 with no manual. I have hooked it up, but have one problem to solve. The low impedance inputs are not sending sound to the main speaker

Where is the gain set for that input channel of the low impedance mics? If you have an unbalanced Hi-Z input sharing a channel with a low Z balanced microphone They are sharing the same gain stage op amp- in which case an unamplified microphone loses.

Just got shure sm58, plug it into my starsinger on the tele but sounds is very low compared to the crappy mics? i plugged up a mixer box and can get more sound now but should it work fine with the...

The SM58 uses balanced output. If the starsinger uses a 1/4 inch jack, it is unbalanced input and probbly requires a high impedance rather than the low impedance SM58 mic. You can get an impedance transformer to fix that problem.

Turntable volume is low compared with other components. Could this be an analog to digital signal problem?

Hi, this is happening i suspect because the turntable is going into an amp that doesn't have dedicated phono input. Ie Cd or Aux. You need to get a preamp to boost the signal up. Cheers john. styluscity.com

I have a pyle pro pta3000 power amplifier, when i hook it up, one channel works fine and the other channel works intermittenlly.

you either have a cold solder joint or a bad capacitor or a bad input.
if it's only happening from one source, look to the source as the issue - there may be a DC voltage riding on the output into the amp, saturating the input until the caps charge...and if there's a bad cap on the input or output, it may take time for it to stabilize.
Meter the input at zero signal, and meter the output as well looking for DC voltage riding on it.
compare readings at zero signal between channels for discrepancies.
ground both inputs and start metering .
check the low ohm resistors between the output transistors unless it's a hybrid.
when I say transistors I mean mosfets.

Type pf op amp in a Behringer XENYX 1204USB Mixer and a Mackie - 1202-VLZ3

Behringer uses 4580's in appropriate packaging everywhere. There are 339 comparators for the level indicator area.

The Mackies uses both NJM2068 and NJM4560M

The 2068' are used in most of the low noise areas and the 4560 is used in the 75Hz high pass filter for example.

My KLH subwoofer (model ASW8-120B) has stopped working and emits only a low-pitched hum.. I have tried hooking it up using the ''high-level'' 2-wire inputs as well as the ''low level'' RCA plug inputs....

It's unlikely that you can find a shop to repair it for less than the replacement cost ($75ish for a comparable KLH or Sony sub)

If you're up for doing your own soldering, here's a solution for the same problem with the same amp.

If this helps, please hit the "thumbs up" for me!

Microphone too quiet

That's probably not going to work.
Mic level is extremely low compared with line level.
Your sound card is expecting a line level input.
It's simply not made to plug a microphone into (you must be using an adapter or two just to make the connection)
Look for a USB Audio Interface with XLR or 1/4" microphone inputs - these interfaces are pretty generic these days and easy to use ... just plug into your computer via USB and then plug the mic into the interface ... which has a volume control on it ...
I use a Tapco Link.USB ... and like it
