Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
First of all there is a cable that needs to be plugged in under the cymbal.... check if u ve done that
I had a few issues with the sensitivity of my kit out of the box. Inorder for my orange cymbal to register, I had to hit it really hard. Thiswasn’t so bad when it was just a one off cymbal crash, but when you hadto do patterns on the orange cymbal it was nothing but a pain. The reddrum was the exact opposite, it was way too sensitive. It wouldregister a hit when I was hitting the yellow cymbal which is above it.
For me, it got to the point where it pissed me off enough to stop meplaying the game. I did a bit of research and found that there was a“USB Midi Drum Tuning Kit” that was available for free from Red Octane,so I ordered one and began my crusade for the ultimate drummingexperience.
It took about 2 weeks for the cable to get delivered, might seemlike a while but it was right after Christmas, so take from that whatyou will.
It’s a really simple process to “tune” the kit to your playingstyle. Using both the drum tuning software and the “Music Studio”featured in “Guitar Hero: World Tour” you basically do a sound check,by hitting each individual pad or cymbal and then adjust itssensitivity if need be.
Once adjusted, I fired up “Guitar Hero: World Tour” and couldn’tbelieve the difference, fills were more responsive, the cymbalsregistered hits properly. It was actually like playing real drums.
I’ve included a picture of the settings that I use, but it would be best to adjust it to your particular kit.
Claim the “USB Midi Drum Tuning Kit” in the below link
Download the drum tuner software for Windows
for OS X
or if u dont feel like getting this kit.... get a new one at ebay for around 15 bucks....
