You will need a card reader/writer, which are usually very inexpensive and found in any camera shop. You just have to place your SD or CF card in the reader and copy your files to it as if it was a USB key. Make sure it is a reader/writer device, because there are some that only read the cards, but won't write back.

I need the date to show up on the picture itself. Can I do that with this camera?

Hi Tiger
Most digital cameras store the date and time of the photo in an invisible file attached to the image called the EXIF data, and this can only be read by a suitable piece of software. I don't know of a digital camea that will put the date acually on to the image.

I am unable to down load my pictures. Computer does not recognized my camea.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( ).

I have lost the installing disc to transfer photos from camera to computer where can I get this

I hope you at least have a cable to connect your camera to your computer. Connect them and turn your camera on, then see if your computer recognizes the new hardware. Then you should be able to get your pictures.

Put computer pics back on camera?

One very easy method is to find the picture you want back on the camera. Right click on the picture and select COPY. Then double click on "my computer" and locate your camera. Double click on the camera and it should open up the memory card. Click through the folders until you find the pile of images. Right click in the "free space" and select paste. You may need to rename the imaghe once it's there but, that will atleast get the image back on the camera.

Hope this helps, Let me know if you need anything else.

Memory card problem

Remove the card from the camera and try it in a PC card reader. If there are any pictures on the card you will be able to see them.
