Gas heat is a moist heat. The products of combustion are condensating in your secondary heat exchanger. This is normal on a 90% or higher furnace. Open up the top of the condesate pump. You "might" just have a sickty float. If so clean it up and start adding a halve a cup of bleach a couple times a year to prevent slime build up.
Good luck......

Disconnected condensation drain on hot water heater.

Tankless or hybrid water heater?

Tankless gas must have special fitting between water heater and vent that has a condensate line fitting. Hot toxic vent gasses traveling up vent pipe cause acidic water vapor to form inside vent pipe that drips back down vent and drips onto heat exchanger and other parts eventually burning hole through expensive metal alloy heat exchanger, rendering tankless computer water heater useless after electric circuitry gets wet and shorts out.

Hybrid or heat pump type computer water heaters must have condensate drain connected to catch pan located just above storage tank and below compressor. Condensation can form on condenser coils and drip into catch pan where there is primary and secondary drain

Corroding top of rheemglas 21vr50-2t

Corrosion caused by condensed acidic water dripping down vent pipe, bad venting pushing acidic combustion by-product out of vent hood, trace chemicals stored in same room as water heater, dielectric corrosion because water pipes not grounded, hot water pipe above tank is not insulated and condensation dripping down on top of tank ... are things that come to mind.

Hello, it sounds like your condensate line is clogged and not be able to drain into the condensate pump or your condensate pan is cracked and leaking. Best thing to do is clean the condensate line with a shop vac and see if the water will start to drain, if not looks like the pan is cracked.

Worcester combi gas boiler 3.5 highflow is constantantly dripping water at the external flue position over flow pipe

water vapour is one the main products of combustion of gas. With a standard efficiency boiler, upon initial heat up when the flue is cold this vapour can condensate on the inner wall of the flue but should stop once the flue heats up, to stop this condense dripping back on to the heat exchanger the flue should be tilted towards the outlet and thus on initial heat up water can drip from the flue. with high efficiency (condensing) boilers, condensation will occur in the flue and secondary heat exchanger during normal operation, dispense of this condensate is accommodated for in the boiler and therefor the flue should be tilted towards the boiler, if not the flue will drip constantly.

Leaking water

how long have you had the unit,, depending on where you live you might be using your ac in your house and if the installer didn't install the condensate catcher on the flu pipe then you wil have water runing out of the unit, if it is happening all the time then you would need to have a service tech come out that would meen something like the tank or a water line is broken,, but since you said it's coming from the side I would have to say it is condensation

Goodman furnace may be producing to much water

Your furnace is more than 90% efficient and extracting so much heat from the gas that it condenses instead of blowing out steam. This is good! Figure that for every dollar you spend on fuel, you are getting back 90+ cents back in heat. Compare that to the typical units that only get 70 - 80 cents back in heat.

Yes you should drain your condensate to a proper drain via gravity or a condensation pump. I would recommend you treat the condensate first with a acid neutralizer prior to draining in municipal drains due to it's high content of sulfuric acid. You can purchase these filter type neutralizers on the net or at a good heating wholesaler.
