Card error (by 2 users)

i have a card error on my camera. i am unable to take pics, if i remove my card i can depress the shutter button to take pics , but of course no card in camera. i have tried to replace the card same problem..please help.

My digital camera cannot read the card. I cannot take pictures because of this. I even bought new card but still the same problem, "CArd error". How can i fix it?
