Kenmore top loading washing machine
about every 5th load of laundry the spin cycle, prior to finishing, will not go into spin. The machine rinses and then just sits there as if it is waiting on a signal to begin spinning. Once the time period for the spin cycle completes the washer then stops.

- I have the same problem. My machine is about 4 yrs old and it dose everything but go into the spin cycle. I don't believe it is a stuck contact on the timer. If anyone can email me with a fix on this problem please do. I called a repair person and they want 75.00 Bucks just to walk in the door. If I could find a good brake down on this machine I could probably make the repairs myself.Thanks
