Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
Then quit working. No response when i hit start button and timer isn't working either. When i went back to look at it the outflow metal tube shocked me. Unplugged, looked at wires from wall outlet and into dryer. All seeemd fine except red wire at back of dryer just looks old. Not sure if I blew a fuse in the Dryer or what? Any help?
Yes, you did. I advise you to either call me here Whirlpool Parts Surplus OR get a new pigtale for the dryer. AND a thermal fuse. Take the 9-11 1/4" screws out you will see a white skinny fuse straight down off the outgoing air duct. check continuity or connect the wires. I advise you to get a new cord before you start it again.
Best of luck
