Question about Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer
The lights come on, the door locks, but nothing else happens. I thought it was the belt, but when i took off the back the belt was intact. I don't know if it is the motor, or a reset button? If there is a reset button?
I had the same problem within my 1 year warranty. I called the company and they sent out a repairman. Apparently, there is a magnet in the drawer that lets the machine know the drawer is closed and it is safe to start the cycle. If the magnet isn't there the machine doesn't think the drawer is closed and won't start. The repairman simply had to replace the magnet and the washer started after that.
