The motherbord has a socket 478. you will need the correct bios version. here's is the link at ecs.com.tw

What is memory card EliteGroup P4VMM2 V8.1 Motherboard


You will need to install either DDR RAM (DDR 200 or DDR 226) or SDRAM (PC133 or PC100) memory. You cannot install both, you need to choose. The motherboard supports a maximum 2GB and there are two DDR and two PCI slots so 1GB +1GB would be the assumed maximum.

The P4VMM2 ver 5.0 has no SATA connectors so to connect a SATA drive to ihe IDE channels you would need an adapter.
