My computer can not detect the speaker after I format my computer.I check the connection and everything, just I can not recover the driver. what is wrong ?

Unless you have used a recovery disc set or recovery partition on your hard drive to restore the original factory software image, you'll need to download and install the sound drivers for your computer. Most computers have integrated sound, and Windows almost always needs those drivers installed separately. You should be able to download the drivers from the computer manufacturer's website if you have a name-brand machine, or from the motherboard manufacturer's site. Once you install the proper drivers your sound should be working again.

If you have simply deletd then it might have caused the loss of some system files too there first of all you should get a disc of windows Xp sp2 and after inserting it in the drive type "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) in the command prompt and then reinstall the sound driver this will fix te problem.

Simply no sound from PC

Check if you have plugged in the stereo pin to the right port on the PC.
Open sound control (in control panel) and check if the both speaker(main volume) and the wave volume sliders are not set to the lowest.

I have no sound and a split drive

It seems to me that the driver is not installed in your Japanese XP version. You should get the model number of the sound card if possible and go to the manufacturers website. Do a search for the driver, download it, and install it. This will fix your problem. To check you can right click on my computer, click properties, click system, click device manager, and you should find a questionmark in the list. If this is found, it confirms that you need to download the driver. Good Luck!

Ive lost my sound?

Hi, if you have the original driver CD for your system then run the whole set up not just the audio. If you donot have this CD then look inside your computer, locate the manufacturer and any model numbers you can see. go the manufacturers web page and download the latest drivers there.
