Question about Epson Stylus Photo R200 InkJet Printer

Prints a black line down the my CD

It appears that this is due to a dirty roller, but I've cleaned the rollers and that same roller gets dirty again on the very next CD. The printer prints on paper just fine.

Check your plattern foam thingy (not the official term but close) thats the foam membrane that absorbs ink on boarderless printing etc, could be that the cd tray is acting on the foam if is a little lifted or displaced. but just a thought, never seen it happen like this before.

When I print from my Sharp AR-M256, a black line appears on the paper. What can I do to fix this?

Dirty print out is basically due to cartridge related issues. Take out the cartridge and clean its drum/ (green roller) with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. The drum is usually located under a cover. Checkout for any spilled toner inside the printer and clean it also. Print a few pages so that the parts get further cleaned. I think, this would solve the issue.

Moreover, black streaks (thicker lines) and dots etc indicate faulty PCR Roller which is located behind the green drum inside the cartridge. Try replacing the cartridge or get the PCR Roller changed by a professional.

Let me know if any further clarification is required.

Brother MFC-6800 1. Prints with 3/8" blank vertical line down the entire page; 2. Prints with a couple of 1/16" blank vertical lines down the entire page; 3. Prints with some gray shadow...

This solution is unconventional but it worked for me. The black roller on my MFC had irregularities on it and was creating horrible printouts. I pulled out the drum and cartridge and cleaned the large black roller. I used furniture polish to make the roller very smooth. Now it prints really nice.

Hi, I have a black line that runs from top to bottom of the page when scanning, faxing and copying. How do I fix this issue?

the blcak line that runs from top to bottom is due to a dirty misaligned print head...do a full printer maintenance on your printer/scanner . Once the heads and rollers get clean and the printer is aligned, it should get rid of any black streaks or lines. I own a Brother Printer/scanner and it did the same thing to me, as soon as I ran maintenance on it..it fixed the black straks and lines I had on my prints.

I have a savin 2522 and it has a few lines running down my copies

few fine lines is due dirty optics mirrors and lamp, and it may also came from dirty charge rollers due to dirty/worn out charge roller cleaner, worn out cleaning blade and seal blade. to check this, clean/wipe off toner or dirt from charge roller with cloth wet from alcohol or water. then run some test copy.

Dell 5100cn printer printing yellow lines across the page.

This can be any of rthe following depending on the position iof the lines on the page. You need to establishe the position of the lines relative to the top of each page and this determines which of the following component will cause the problem

Dirty or damaged developer roller.
Dirty or damaged charging roller.
Dirty or damaged cleaning roller.
Dirty or damaged developer DSD wheels. These wheels are located on the outer ends of the color toner cartridge and appear as a black bushing.
Dirty or damaged transfer roller.
Dirty or damaged transfer drum.

All of them need inspecting and cleaning

Black streak on back of page.

It is possible that the ink parking station where the heads prime themselves is clogged or full, all ink bled through the heads when priming runs of from here to a resevoir and once this is full you could get spill off that gets transferred through to the rollers. Only way out of this is having the printer serviced, or stripping and servicing the printer yourself.(dirty and messy job)
