Your amp cant handle the impedance of your subs i.e your running a 2ohm sub on a 4ohm amp!

Change the wiring on the sub so instead of running at 2ohm your run at 4

if you need to know how to wire up your sub to run at 4 then take a look at this wiring diagram

take a look at option 2

Hope this helps if so please dont forget to rate :)

you bridge the inside + - and use the outside + -

then connect the outside + to the amp then connect the - to the + on the other sub then the - on the other sub to the amp just read this and do it slowly and you will get it then you only have to run the subs on a two channel amp

Can i bridge this hifonics amp

If you don't know if the amp is bridgeable, then I wouldnt do it. It could already be bridged internally and bridgeing it through the speaker terminals could be disatrous, i.e. the infamous blue smoke of death. The amp looks like a 2 channel amp fromt he pic and you have two speakers you are trying to power with it. So the safest bet would be to just unbridge your speakers and hook them each up to the amp as normal. No blue smoke. Good luck!

I have a 2 channel amp pionner gm 510t 760 watt and i have 2 subs how do i hook them up for the most kick and the hardest pound do i run them series or bridged or whats the best way ????

If you bridge it, it makes 2 channels one channel so you can only have it going to one sub. So you'd have to run them in series and have one sub per channel. If you want lots of bass you need to turn the gain up and adjust the settings on the head deck.

I want to hook up my 2 quad coil woofers to a 1ohm amp but

I would look up "series" and "parallel" wiring on the net. Parallel will lower your ohms, which is good- especially for you since your amp is 1ohm. use 1 channel of your amp (unbridged...bridging an amp could increase output, but will Raise the ohms) connect the positive terminal with a wire that goes to the positive on your first sub, and from there, connect a wire from that same positive terminal to the positive terminal on your second sub. do the same thing with the neg. wire. This is called parallel wiring.

does the amp turn on when the deck is turned on ? is the ground hooked to the body of the car to bare metal w/out paint ect ...under it ? you may want to take it to a installer there are many things it could be they can also test your rca outputs if thats the problem. curcuit city is a cheap place to have your equipment tested if you live close to one

How to

First of all, make sure your amp is bridgeable. There are a few ways to bridge subs. series: hook one wire from the negative on the left amp output (or whichever is labeled on amp for bridged)to left sub negative. left sub positive to right sub negative, then right sub positive to the amp positive output.(like a big loop through both speakers) parallel: both speakers get their own set of wires, both negatives go to the bridge negative terminal, and both positives go to the positive bridge terminal. Series-parallel: A combination of the two. say two speakers in series, and one hooked up alone, but all to the same amp outputs. Bridging your amp/speakers basically lowers the resistance of the circuit and makes more current flow, more power, louder, harder hit. In series, it also makes both speakers do exactly the same thing, instead of "stereo sound" or L/R differences. What you're probably looking to do is Bridge in parallel. That will drop the resistance of the circuit the lowest, allow the amp to put out the most amount of current to the speakers, and allow your bass to hit the hardest. If your amp only has one output, hook up the same way as above. Just see what resistance your amp is stable down to. If down to 1 ohm, no worries. if stable only to 2 or 4 ohms, you may want to bridge in series to be safe. That will cause the resistance to go up, and will not pull as much current through the amp. The whole time, just remember Bridgeing and higher current mean HEAT so watch your amp. I hope this helped.

Speakers

Hi Trim God,

I do not reccommend that you push the Pioneer speakers over 100 watts.  The jenson will already drown the car with bass through your pioneers so much you will want to turn off the bass boost when playing some low bass hip hop songs. It changes from one venue of song to another, so I just keep the jenson bass boost off and use my head unit to adjsut the sound to fit my listening prefences. I am telling you man, you will be blown away .  Hook up the pioneers straight to the Channels,. do not bridge.  I put Subs in my truck though.  I used the Pass output to send the audio to me Jenson 2 Channel 600W amp. I drive one 10 inch enclosed JBL Class A/B Sub. I bridged the output of the 600 W amp to the 10 inch sub  in my Z28.  The pioneers never get drowned out.  I did smoke my 2 channel Amp one time. and also took out a MTD 10inch sub. I am talk shooting flames and smoked the whole car up. I think if you bride the XA4150 to the pioneers, you will have the flaming smoke problem in no time.
