A can of compressed air is the best solution.

Carefully cleaning with q-tips and rubbing alcohol a second.

Disconnecting the keyboard, spraying it with a hose and waiting at least 5 days for it to dry out is not a good option but if you are desperate, as long as your sure its dry, it will not hurt anything.

Many people wash their keyboards in a dishwasher, but the heat can be an issue. Just remember to make sure its dry dry dry, and that any solvents used may ruin the plastic so always check in an inconspicuous spot first.

Logitec K120 spacebar skips runs wild. How to remedy problem

I'd bet that if you pulled the space bar off the keyboard that you'll find a bunch of gunk around either the spring bar, keyswitch or both.

Either that or someone set a keyboard macro for "sticky key" on your space bar when you weren't looking.

For hints on pulling keycaps, check youtube. Getting them off is easy. Getting them back on is the hard part.

When I press space-bar on my laptop, up jumps a letter Z. any ideas to get rid or correct this?

There is some liquid sticky material between keys z , x and you space bar that need to be cleaned. Use alcohol and a tag and try to clean between the keys. Try not to remove the keys because sometimes they break and won't come back on.

IF you know how to open phone. you can do it.
clean all key button with alcohol(91 % alcohol normally used for first aid)
that will remove all sticky material.
and you will have your phone works.

The keys stick and/or skip

Use a small screwdriver to gently pop the sticky keys off of the keyboard. You do not need to use excessive force, as a bit of gentle pressure should allow the key to come loose easily. If you are cleaning the entire laptop keyboard, draw a keyboard map on a piece of paper so that you know exactly where each key goes. There may be a small piece of rubber connected to each key, depending on your make of laptop, so remove these as well and place them in a small container, as they are small and easily lost.
2 Clean the exposed area under the key well with a cotton swab slightly dampened with rubbing alcohol. Replace the cotton swabs often as they collect residues, but be sure that they are only very slightly damp, as excess liquid can damage the keyboard. You can roll the swab against the opening of the alcohol bottle to remove excess liquid making sure that alcohol does not drip from the swab.
3 Scrub the actual keys and their rubber components with cotton swabs and alcohol, removing all traces of grease and sticky residue. Spray the keys with standard household cleaner and allow them to set for at least five minutes before rinsing them thoroughly with hot water. Put the keys on a paper towel and allow them to dry completely.
4 Set the rubber components aside and place the laptop keys bottom side up on a paper bag. Coat the keys very lightly with film lubricant and allow them to dry. Make sure that the lubricant covers all of the small guide spaces inside of each key; however, you must be careful not to use too much lubricant, as the solvent can damage the plastic.
5 Apply a small amount of solvent to the tip of a cotton swab and lubricate the exposed key space on the keyboard, again being sure to cover all of the small spaces. Allow the keyboard to dry thoroughly.

Replace all of the rubber components into the keyboard and then install the keys. Make sure that the wire is placed into the guide slot next to the key and apply firm yet gentle pressure until the key snaps into place. Congratulations, no sticky keys!

I have an Acer Netbook and the space bar will not work unless you hit it very hard.

Turn it upside down and tap it.There may be some thing caught under the space bar.If not then gently pry the space bar off and clean it.It may be sticky.

Dropped soda in my acer keyboard-did not seem to harm electronics, but keys are starting to stick . I turned it upside down right away. computer seems to work ok- other than sticky keys

Get a clean, damp, warm and soapy dish cloth or face flannel. Gently wipe the keys that are effected, keep on doing this until the keys become loose and not too sticky.

Charmglow model cgl300tq. cannot seem to get enough gas to make ignition! i keep pilot inlet tube clean. how can i tell if it is the regulator. it is definitely a gas flow problem!

You will need a manometer to determine your gas pressure, the amount required is posted on your appliance. Take both a static and dynamic reading on the inlet side of the gas valve. If it is not high enough consult a plumber. If it is take a reading on the manifold side. If the gas pressure is too low again consult a plumber. If it is within spec check orifaces and burner tubes if any for debris and spiders.

Margins won't stay cleared from line to line. Character spacing is wider than what it was yesterday.

On the L. side of the keyboard are some slide switches set the line space at one position and the pitch at 12, now space to the rt. margin press the mar rel key once space to where you want the rt. margin and press the rt. mar key.
