I have a Horizon CSE4.6 elliptical machine that suddenly won't turn on. Worked okay this morning, crapped out this afternoon. Any ideas or source of wiring diagram?

You have a short in the wiring harness

Steve, the Ex-79 should be very quite. I am surprise to learn yours is making Squeaky Noise. I think there was some problem with your assembly. How long do you have this trainer? does is make sound when you put your weight on a specific footpadel (like left or right)?

My temporary solution would be to lub up your trainer. Please call horizon regarding you issue on 800.244.4192 (or you can email: [email protected]).

must be not align, to due some bend. Try to adjust it with some little hammer and fix it.

There are a few things to check:

There are safety switches mounted on the body of the machine designed to prevent the machine turning on when it is not fully assembled. Ensure that your bag unit is snapped completely into place, (with the rear of the emptor assembly nearly flush with the body of the machine,) and that the front nozzle assembly is mounted correctly.

Also check that the power cord (immediately aft of the bag unit,) is pushed completely into the machine.

If the switch does not feel responsive, it can either be that the little metal "pole" (for lack of a better description) is not attached to the main switch assembly correctly, which will require you to open the entire housing to check.

Those are the simple things to check, otherwise it may need a switch, cord, or motor replacement. Checking continuity on these items with a VOM will allow you to determine the cause.
