Question about Samsung YP-K5 MP3 Player

1 Answer

No Sign of Life

I was using my MP3 this morning on the way home from work with no problem at all and on about half a battery left. Now at home, I went to turn it on and got nothing. I decided to plug it into the computer for charging but still, nothing. No display. Won't turn on. Won't charge. Could any body help? I've only had this for about a month and I paid over £120 for it. I'd hate for it to break already after careful treatment for the past month. Thanks

My mp3 player will not charge. I have tried

it should be the battery. Maybe its very weak.

Plug it to your laptop and allow it to charge for a long time. Make sure its turned off and even if it does not show any sign of charging, just leave it, it might come up itself.

But if this does not work, you will have to find a way to change the battery or get another player.

Take care.

Ipod shuffle (2nd gen) completely dead

you are still under warranty...take it to the sony apple store...they will fix it /replace it or tell you there is cost if it not the battery (note do not tell them you charged overnight, and for the future do chage any gadgets more than 3-4 hrs) when you do charge over night you are actually shorten the battery life span or as soon as you come home from school, work, whatever cell/ipod or any other device needs to be charge...charge it now and unplug before you go to bed....

Under a full charge the mp3 shows only 1/2 charge3d

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

How long is the charge lasting? If you're only getting half of the battery life you use to get, then the unit needs to be repaired. I can do more research into your model, but normally there isn't a way to change the battery charge display. Please let me know if you're still getting full battery life even though the display is only showing half.

I'll use the information you provide to assist you further. I look forward to hearing from you.

Archos 404 not charging

Dont use the USB to charge the 404. Use a wall charger that accepts USB. Wally world (Walmart) has one for 15 dollars that has 2 USB ports. It works for me. Also the docking station will charge the 404 in no time at all. It's 80 dollars. Make sure you get the generation 4 unit

My mp3 won't turn on

I think i have a solution to your the power not coming on with a charged battery. On the back at the very bottom is a reset button (very tiny), get a saftey pin or tooth pick and press and release. I did this and now i am not hunting down Samsung....Have good day! WhupAzz

Sansa e250

i know i have to charge my sansa for at least 7-8 hours before the battery will show it is full. about your other problem, i believe there is an option under the settings menu to automatically shut your sansa off. If not then you can turn off the backlight and that will save alot of battery life.
