It is defective most likely due to a stripped drive gear, the only thing you can do is replace it as this type of appliance is not repaired (they do not provide parts).

Once you've opened bottle of wine, no matter how much you age it, you be able to drink it for 3-5 days since you've opened it and you can never age it again.

Disconnect electrical connector.
Remove retaining screw
Pull speed sensor up and out of transmissin housing.
Reverse procedure to install

We have a friend who lives at Berkly Lake, and we went to a wine boutique if you will over near her house. I think they would know who services that unit. I can not think of the name of the store though, but it was pretty close by (3-4 miles) in a small business strip center. I know your close by, being in Peachtree.

Alternative, is to find a Oster appliance repair center. There has to be one in the Atlanta area for sure. Or really, any appliance place that services refrigerators. Heck, I (with my wife), it's her best friend) would come do it for the price of a plane ticket. Our friend could vouch for my knowledge.
