Question about GE Refrigerators
I have a GE model GSS25KGMD SxS refrigerator that frosts up at the bottom of the ice dispenser outlet and around the ice chute. I recently replaced the solenoid actuator for the dispenser door thinking that was the major cause (and it was corroded and stuck). When that didn't solve it, I caulked around the inside of the chute to seal it from the outside air and dried everything out before reassembly since the insulation was fairly sodden when I dismantled it It still freezes up, sometimes so bad when the door hasn't been opened in several hours that you have to really yank on the door to open it. I'm pretty sure it's condensation from the humid outside air getting inside since I see ''fog'' inside both the cooler and freezer occasionally when I open the door. The question is: where the heck is it coming from?
This is i moisture problem that we have down here in miami i see this all the time
report this to factory service i have found no quick fix
