Camera will not be recognized by any computer

Please help!!!!! My camera, out of nowhere, will not be recognized by ANY computer. When I plug it in, it says computer could not recognize your device. I restarted my computer, I tried over 6 other computers, I tried everything I know! When it's plugged in the computer will say the problem is caused by (error 23) or by (error 45).. Any idea what hthis might be? I really just need to be able to get my pictures off. By the way, everything other thing about the camera works perfectly, it just wont connect to the computer.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Yeah. A few hours after I posted this, I found out that the memory card could plug into my computer.

HI,

it seems like your data cable (USB Cable) you use to connect your camera with the laptop/desktop. firstly you buy the replacement cable to connect your camera to the computer,

Secondly you can also purchase USB card reader as you can buy from any IT Store and it is very minimal in cost these days

Thanks and Regards,

How can I download the pictures from the camera to my computer? I plug it in and my computer doesn't even see its there.

If the computer doesn't recognize your camera, probably its driver problem. Have you installed camera software driver into your PC ? (the driver CD usually given bundled with the camera)
If the installing success, your computer should recognize your camera.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.
