Question about MSI PM8M-V Motherboard
POST error on Packard Bell running MSI N1996 mobo, nvidia GeForce 7300 SE.
1 long the 2 short beeps.
Tried taking out 1 memory chip at a time, but still get error, so either both memory are borken (unlikely) or perhaps graphics card or PSU?
Also, when XO does start, a couple of times if left at logon screen BSDO with Stop 0x8E.
Have downloaded latest nvidia drivers.
When running Warcraft game, after a minute or so, system freezes.
Run memtest 86, test each ram stick, if it shows both as bat, then your mobo;'s memory controller is bad. if neither is bad, then it is your graphix card

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
