My printer is Epson Dot Matrix 300+,I use tally 7.2 for accounting, when i give print in quick draft mode in tally,(my paper size is 8.5x12 inch) paper area is seen as 80 col. & 72 lines. and print area is seen 80col. and 68 lines........... so can u help us to increase print area from 68 to 72 lines.... Plz assist me to sole this problem

am using an Epson LX-300+II dot matrix printer in Windows XP. I am
trying to print checks that are tractor feed 8.0" x 3.66". I added the cusotm
paper size in the print server and it is saved correctly, however, when I try
to print, the print properties dialog does not show the paper size. In fact,
there are many paper sizes in the print manager that do not show up in the
list of available paper sizes.

just change the page length setting in printer .just press pause button and switch on the printer and change the setting accordig to the page size it is bettreif you take online help from epson service call center they will guide you how to set the page length.

if you want change page setting in your printer ..... to get the all settings of your printer press font button and switch on the printer (before take setting make sure that you printer loaded with paper ) goes through the instruction printed in the paper to change the settings ........ change paper size.....



you can map your tally printer paper size in system .....go to printer and faxes ... file..>server properties ...>select create a new from ...> change the name as you wise and change the paper setting and click ok ........


while you give print change paper size to your created paper size and check

Not all dot matrix printers will print in draft mode. When operating from DOS it was usually necessary to send an Esc(ape) code such as ESC @ in ASCII code. I don't think it can be done from Windows; in fact some windows programs will not even talk to a dot matrix printer. Some printers have one or two banks of DIP switches, but before changing them you need to read the manual to see what they do. There could be one which allows Draft MOde.

Install "Epson Compatible 9 pin" driver, you will get it. Thats all

use courier font. it works just as draft font. no problem in VB-6 i hope it will also work with .Net as well.

hi there, your problem is in page setup. make a custom size and it will print inside your paper sheet. ty

Please change the setting print direction from bidirection to unidirection.

see just go start setting and printer in printer right click go to server properties in that you will get option of creating form choose new form and give the sige of voucher so whenever you printing voucher select this paper size. bye
