Question about Dell Inspiron 5100 System Board ( Motherboard ) - N0933 CD-ROM Drive
I have checked all the volume controls I can find. The head phone jack is working fine. Any idea's?
Confirm that your BIOS does not have a "Mute PC Speaker" option. Confirm that you have not muted your PC Speaker in your OS. Remove the Palm rest via screws on the bottom of the machine, Remove Keyboard, Confirm that your speakers have not become disconnected/loose in anyway. Speakers are generally connected to the system board below the area of the touch pad.
