The problem you are describing is a problem with something in the lens assembly. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.

http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.asp

Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $68.85 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

Can't upload pictures from my camera to pc

Sounds like the PC doesn't have the correct driver to find the Olympus.
Do you still have the CD that came with the camera ? this will have to be installed.
Once installed , connect you camera via the mini USB (or firewire) , turn on and then open the Photo application.
If you don't have the CD/ROM then do a Google search for Olympus FE360 and down load the driver from their website.
Good luck -- Ray

Stuck lense on olympus FE-350

If the lens is stuck out then you will find it is usually one of a few reasons.

1. Check the batteries
(obvious I know).
2. The
camera has been dropped or knocked.
3. The camera has grit or dirt in the lens mechanism.

Providing the batteries are ok then 2 and 3 usually mean a professional repair. The lenses tend not to be something that the average
home user can remove and take apart. The cost of repair also might be more than the camera value so you will need to find a good repair shop near you and get a quote.

Our Camera was dropped and the lense was out while it was dropped. The lense now appears to be bent in a downward direction and wont retract in or out. The camera did a series of beeps and turned off. Now...

I had a similar problem with my FE 280. I just used a pair of plyers and gently straighten the lens and it works fine. You are going to pay to fix it more than the camera is worth so no harm in trying

Camera turns on beeps turns off

Hi there. Turn on. Before it beeps, take the battery's out. This may take some practice. Now us a Qtip almost soaked in rubbing alcohol and clean the outside edges of the lenses. Put battery's back in and cycle the camera on and off. I hope this works for you. It worked for me.
Thanks

MY FE 140 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Lens will probabaly need to be replaced. Used replacement lenses can usually be found on ebay. Mechanically inclined person can replace them quite easily. Olympus repair shops are usually quite expensive and it's almost better to get new camera rather than have them repair it.
