Question about Alpine CDE-9874 Car CD/ MP3 Player
Hi I have the Alpine CDE-9870 and it says that you can use an mp3 player w/it. How do I do this?
I have that model and it does not have the front auxillary port. it has a red and white audio ports in the back of it. i plugged in an audio cable to it and hooked it up to my android phone and i couldnt figure out how to play the music off of it.

That model has a front-auxillary port on it.
Just purchase a cable online (http://www.yourcablestore.com/6-Foot-25mm-Stereo-Headphone-Cable-Male-Male_p_76.html) or in Walmart, BestBuy, etc.
When you get it, hook one end into the stereo and the other end to your MP3 player.
Set the Aux as the source and press Play on the MP3 player.
