Display screen distorted

Please help. My display screen on my old phone will not display anything and I received a replacement phone only to be told that all of my saved numbers in my old phone could not be retrieved by the new phone I have the sim card and the phone still. Is there anyway that I could disassemble the phone and fix this problem??

My samsung sgh 880 screen is black, i can receive call but cannot see anything, please help

If everything works fine, just the display problem, with this, there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Take care.

LG 8300 phone the display screen is distorted / scrambled

The problem with your phone is that the flex on your phone screen is malfunctioning, that is why the screen is distorted.

All you will need to do is to change the flex on your phone screen because it is now faulty.

Change the flex of your phone screen as advice and you will see that your phone screen will be back to normal.

Take care.
