Question about Apple iPod shuffle Second Gen. Silver (1 GB) MP3 Player (MA564LL/A)
Battery in my 2nd generation ipod does not hold a charge. I think the battery needs to be replaced. How do I replace the battery. Where do I get the battery and what do they cost. Thank you Maui Mikie
Hi there again,
i saw this in your other thread,
so here is the same answer i gave.
some local resellers will replace the battery if they have authorised technissions on site.
However, you should ideally go to an apple retail store. They do these things all the time.
If you want to try it yourself, here is the first result in google for self replacement.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
