The on/off button has sunken down and gotten crooked and I need to lift the keyboard so I can access it and hopefully get it straight again. Is it hard to get the keyboard off?

It depends what type of system you have...It it not very difficult. Some laptops like Dell xps, are so simple that you just need to lift a small face plate right below the screen and under it, it has 3 screws and keyboard pops right off...others you have to remove some screws from under the computer itself. Every laptop computer is slightly different. If you have the owner's manual, it walks you step by stem where to find the screws. If you don't have one, you can download it from the manufacturer's website is a very smaill pdf file.

Good luck

C key is sunken down. The hammer action counterbalance isn't working properly

Check it again. It may have something dragging on the key, maybe something sticky like soda or juice residue. You can also try swapping out the key with another C or F key that is less used. Good luck!

Asus keyboard problems

Hold the FN button and keep tapping F4 on the keyboard. If this doesn't work you may have to replace the keyboard and to do this you just remove the top of the computer by removing any connecting screws and then lift up the keyboard and check to see if the ribbon is loose connecting it to the hard drive, or it has a loose connection if it is a fairly new laptop then you should still be covered under a warranty.

Locate fuel door opener

DId you happen to receive an answer yet? On most Suzuki's and Mitsubishis, the fuel door release is directly under drivers seat on the left side. THe SUzuki's is a flat flap type "lift" button thats sunken into the molding trim around bottom of seat. Makes it hard to find. Mitsubishi models, if its in same place, will have a fuel hose symbol on top of the lift up latch, even though it doesnt look like a button or lift up release.

Hope this helps

Acer Aspire 7735Z - how do you take the keyboard out?

Acer 7735Z

Carefully, Flip over the laptop with the lid closed (and at your knees), and remove the 3 across the top, then the middle one to the right of battery compartment, and the 2 to the left of the battery compartment.

Open the laptop, and lift the cover gently that houses the power button. Don't lift it right off as there is a cable connecting it to the laptop & you don't want to disconnect it. You can, but you don't have to.

Then, lift the keyboard up at the top of the assembly, carefully as you till need to take note of the direction the keyboard cable goes into the laptop. Pry up the brown cable retainer for the keyboard cable (it will swivel up 90 degrees), slide out the cable and remove the old keyboard assembly.

To install, put in cable, push back the cable retainer, slide keyboard assembly into laptop bottom first (you will see the tabs and where they fit). Replace the cover that houses the power button, it will snap down to help hold the top of the keyboard down. Close cover, flip over and replace the screws.

No power up hills

The engine has a compression problem.
Check if the engine is consuming water or coolant liquid.
If coolant liquid level is slowly going down as you drive then you have an head gasket problem, and that is the reason for loosing compression.

If not you will have to check caburetor settings or electronic fueling depending on the engine.
